Another round of TDSIC arguments at Supreme Court
Last week, the Indiana Supreme Court heard arguments in an appeal of a Commission order authorizing Duke Energy Indiana’s latest TDSIC plan, leveling new challenges to the Commission's interpretation of the TDSIC statute. This marks at least the second or third occasion where such challenges have been presented before the Court.
Supreme Court hears arguments in ordinance disputes
The Indiana Supreme Court held oral arguments in two appeals last week, both involving Duke Energy Indiana. The Court heard arguments in City of Carmel, Indiana v. Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, et al., and Duke Energy Indiana, LLC v. City of Noblesville. Both cases involve disputes over local regulations regarding construction and maintenance of utility equipment.
